Hello! World!

I decided to go to Pattaya the day I arrived at ChiangMai.

but I will go to BKK first by train and then took a bus to PTY.

but lucky me..all the train stopped because of the flood..  ;-(

so I changed my plan, go to Pattaya by bus directly.

and lucky me again, I got the ticket on that day.

bus there is really clean.

(But all the busman speak thai..I dont know where I was all the time,

there is a boy showed up,everytime the bus stopped,

he came to tell me where I am and how long it takes to Pattaya.)

In fact, I don’t know nothing before I go to Pattay,

I think this is so dangerous,but I’m excited,

I arrived at Pattaya that morning,

I don’t know where is my hotel booked on Agoda,

the motobiker help me to find the hotel for about an hour..

[but he charge more, that’s fair.]

I really love that window, every morning I wake up, it’s sunshine out there.

I always turn off the air-conditioner and enjoy the wind.

then ,, I took a shower and slept for about an hour, and went out for brunch.

When I was thinking about which restaurant I should go,

there is a guy say hello to me and advise me to have breakfast there

hmmm. why not?

and then, he asked me to join him, coz he is alone.

and again, why not?

[maybe the people there I met all so nice, so I always say yes when somebody wants to talk]

his name is Andrew, New Zealander, business man,

work for half a year and travel half a year, he had been to more than 20 countries

he loves Thailand,been here many times,and have some frineds in Pattaya

he even introduce his friend, the restaurant owner Robin to me.

R comes from Norway, but lived in Thailand more than 5 years, have bar,restaurant,hostel there

Robin is crazy!!!!!And he knows everything about Pattaya..really crazy!!!

but I’m not going to tell why he is crazy, I just can’t.

we all talked a lot, he is surprise I came from China,

coz Andrew had been China and and has a Chinese girlfriend,so he knows Chinese:

unsecure,self-protected, travel with group all the time..and so on

he likes meditate,yoga,quiet, and also go to bars alcohol nightlife

this is a little bit like me, complicated individule

he asked me what’s my plan

“my plan is no plan!”

he laugh, and I said,”maybe beach”

he said he can drive me there and educate me about the people there

oh, why not, huh?

We walked along the beach and talked about our countries, our life,

he do educate me about the people on the beach, all kinds of men and women and ladyboy there

and later we went to the shopping mall to have a coffee and continue the topics.

in the evening, he took me to the walking street.

The most foumous street there.

we visited go-go bars, saw the girls there

Andrew is very nice, he known I’m so curious about thier life,

so he bought the girls a drink and ask them to talk to me,

I did talked a lot with them even their English is not that good,

most of them are from poor background and have to support the whole family,

money is not money here, it’s just a number or some papers,

I saw someone throw money into the sky and girls rush to get it,

just like in the movie.

Andrew said it’s not that easy to see this,

most of the people just bought a blanket of pingpang balls,

one ball stand for 20Baht.

It’s really a crazy world in Pattaya..

no mention the naked dance.. and the bath show..

The next day, we still met at Robin’s ,

and Andrew showed me the whole view of Pattaya on the mountain:

we had a coconut on the mountain, wow,cool~~~

later Andrew took me to the market which only open on Thursday and Friday

and we go to the beach again for the sunset later that day.

(we share the pictures in our smartphone and talked about the travel stories.)

We visited lady-boy this day, and again, I talked to them and listen to their stories.

I always smile, that’s why they would love to talk to me.

We also visited some other bars that night, and I have seen the shows…

It’s just…I can’t describe in any kind of language, it is really a good show,

I think that is the only bar there havd this kind of show..

Really CRAZY world““““““

I wonder how they can get back to their normal life?

?

I went back till 2am that day.

and I planned to go to Ko Chang the next day,

but Robin told me Ko Chang is raining all these days.

and then, I decided to go to Ko Samet.

and this time, I’m the one said,

”Don’t be sad, saying goodbye is a part of journey.”

I’m grown up, huh?

So, here I am, Ko Samet,

A beautiful, clean, quiet island!!!

I’m stupid again, I boght the wrong boat ticket,

and landed on a beach so far from the main Pier.

But my hostel is so close to the main Pier.

OMG..

I walked and walked, cross many beaches,they are really nice

clean, not that many people there, quiet, and windy

I enjoyed myself.

Thanks goodness, there is only one way to the Pier,

I will never lost, and I didnt take a large bag with me.

after arrived and check-in,I ask the owner show me a way to the quietest beach.

I decided to clean my mind on this island,

coz I met too many people these days and talked a lot, exchange a lot,

I want to do a meditation and keep myself alone.

So I chose a little beach without people there.

But, the funny thing is, I still met Sam there.

Sam comes from Finland, and stay at Ko Samet for more than 5months,

we didn’t talk too much in the afternoon,

but later that night, after took a shower,

Sam called me and ask me to have dinner or drink with his frineds,

Mika and Antti, all from Finland

of course I said yes, he came to my place and drove me there

we really had a good time,

We talked about our countries,

Finland is really a good country, but they all hate there because

“it’s so fucking cold there”   (faint, poor Chinese)

and they can never understand what happening in China

one of them even don’t know where China is on the map before he came to Thailand.

They 2 work together in the different countries, when save some money, they will travel

this time is come to Thailand, visit Sam, and the holiday may last at least half an year,

or till they are out of money.

C’est la vie!!!!

they drink a lot there but we still went to bars later that evening

they wanted to get drunk,

They, are really crazy about “night life”.

“night life” here its not something healthy! get me? 🙂

later Sam took me to the “best noodle soup in Thailand” for dinner

dinner, huh?

It is delicious!

and later go back to bar again,

people there are crazy…a girl i never met before run to me,

and talk to me about her boyfriend whom is flirting with another girl..

and drag me into the stage and dance.

but I just can not move like them

everyone is so happy there, this is holiday, huh?

I went back at about 2 or 3am.

Sam said he can showed my around on the island the next day,

but I known he should go to work the next day,

I said thanks and no need,

“anyway, I will call you.”he said

The next day,I wake up at 11am, and took a shower, had a breakfast

and went to the beach again.

I’m the only one there, and I’m so happy.

after about an hour later, Sam called me and said we can go now

(he didn’t go to work that day and he said he wants to quit later OMG)

we sit on the beach for a while and then go to see the island.

the island is cone-shape, i want to go to the end of the island

this is on the way there, road there is really so bad……climbing all the time..

poor motorbike…

but finally, we made it!!!

(even though we don’t know how we can get back..)

and we found a little tiny beach there..so nice..

Sam told me about the fire-show on the beach last day,

and we made a deal to see the fire-show that night, so we skip the sunset there…

(actually I prefer to see the sunset 😦  )

Sam paid the dinner,its a kind of roasted fish

spicy and sour, and delicious with rice.

that helped me a lot,It must be so tired driving all day,

and that evening we didn’t go to the bar, just walk along the beach and talk about the funny stories when traveling

I thought it maybe time to say goodbye,

but he said he will go to BKK with me because he had a Thai language class in BKK on Friday

so, now I have a guide lead me to BKK.

hahaha.

 

but not that many story to tell in BKK.

It’s a big city like any big cities in the world,

and full of people, full of cars and pollution,

I don’t like it.

We went to Chinatown, and had Chinese food there.

nothing else, only boring market.

[I told him I don’t like BKK, and he said, If you don’t like BKK, let’s go to Laos!]

at last, on Sep 5th,

my Thailand trip ended,

I met Andrew in the airport again coz he is heading to ChiangRai

and also his girlfriend was flying to the airport from China and we met.

we had a coffee and talked a lot there,

this time, things getting serious,

we all talked about our families.

the things we had been through, and the ideas we had.

I really have to clean all this after back to China.

“Life is short, please, please play more.”

“money is nothing, unless you turn it into happiness,experience.”

“you can only be hurt if that is how you want to feel at any moment. Our feelings are just that… they are our feelings, and you can choose to be hurt because of what someone else does, or choose not to be hurt!! ”

I’m working on it, I am trying to change.

I will stay like this all the time? or I will back to the same me as before?

Andrew said I can never get back again.

I will figure it out.

 

This is my travel to Thailand,

most of people can not understand why I went there alone, for this long holiday,

I never expect you all will understand, but I know what I’m doing now.
